If it is a drink with a fantastic panoramic view of London you are after you should visit the Skylounge (+44 20 77091044).  This hidden gem is the works. Twelve floors up, the magnificent vantage point of the Skylounge’s alfresco terrace is where you will be able to gaze across at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London while sipping expertly crafted cocktails or any other beverage for that matter.

If you are staying in the Soho part of London definitely make it part of your trip to have a drink in the Dog and Duck Bar (+44 20 7494 0697). It has been an institution in the Soho area for years and it is very popular with locals and visitors to London.  You will discover that most of the bars interiors are authentically vintage including carved mahogany and the George Orwell room upstairs.
