Located in the south side of Amsterdam on Ferdinand Bolstraat, guests will be treated like royalty with attentive waiters preparing your favourite cocktail. For a panoramic view of Amsterdam I would advise you to head to the 23rd floor where as well as taking in the spectacular views, you will also able to enjoy drinks at the swanky bar.

Built in 1780 as a Hoope distillery but today it is popular, bustling bar which is located on one of Amsterdam’s prettiest canals. If you are visiting Amsterdam during the summer months get here early as there is usually a dash for seats outside. The 1780 feel is still alive and well in this Amsterdam bar.

When in Amsterdam for a few days definitely make a booking to dine at De Kas (+31 20 462 4562). Located at Kamerlingh Onneslaan, in an enormous glasshouse which is divided into two – one half for dining and the other  which allows the restaurants chefs and staff to grow their own fruit and vegetables, which could quite possible end up on your plate.
